I enjoyed the ending and it is open ended enough for there to be a sequel. This movie runs the emotional gambit from sweet mushy tears to difficult core fighting. I saw an advance screening of the flick tonight. I mean visually, the movie was pretty great. The movie had excellent unique effects and the fight scenes had been exciting. If itwasn't for those talented visual effects artist and million dollarexecutive producers, then we wouldn't have those movies. Now, the powers are only shiny lights for the viewer to look at and nothing a lot more. Henri acknowledges that Lorians pair-bond for life (comparable to the Golden Compass heroine and her familiar), and that this complicates the road trip. IN MY OPINION IT WAS LIKE JUMPER MEETS WANTED WHO FELL IN Enjoy WITH BOURNE IDENTITY. Caruso who has completed other science fiction-action films (Eagle Eye, Disturbia) and its main producer Michael Bay (Pearl Harbor, Transformers) whose films are identified for their over the leading use of unique effects (specifically slow motion involved pyrotechnics and explosions). Oh joy… So this well-produced but very shallow film is bogged down even much more by an incredibly UN-original screenplay and heartless direction, and that's sad. Then the story picks up and the movie gets far better from there. There will be sequels sadly but I definitely won't be signing up to see it. The plotwas fairly bad. I Am Number Four on line. The large bat-like monsters are fairly cool and look good, cgi is abundant and usually awful searching, the baddies look like one thing from across between 'Blade II' and 'Battlefield Earth' with the oddest searching alien outfits since 'Battlefield Earth' and the ending is set for much more sequels in an obvious franchise wannabe. I thought from the previews this movie would be full of much a lot more action, but as it is it's cute but average with no action for the initial half, the last half is when the show finally starts. The ending reminded me of the ending of "Masters of the Universe" circa 1987, cheezy lazer gun effects stupid CGI monsters. It is rare that a movie lives up to the book it was based on, but I really feel that the actors and the director did a actually great job of staying accurate to the storyline, the characters and the overall feel of the book. In the movie, I just didn't have the "really feel" that Four was there. Generating a jock the villain justdoesn't add up. I really liked this movie. The young, blonde, curly headed #4 heart-throb manages to kick it up a notch, BUT that red motorcycle-riding, economy of dialogue #6 chick, and that toothy, club-tailed K-9 deserve star billing for saving this movie from being a total light-weight yawner. I felt the book was written directly for the screen so I was surprised that there was so much variation. Then they don't actually develop the cool component of the story at all. As it turns out, the Mogadorians wiped out the population of John's planet years just before, except for nine children with extraordinary powers. OMG, I'm living those longing looks once more, in no way actually brought to fulfillment, but brought to life by boring teens. Teresa Palmer (Sorcerer's Apprentice and Bedtime Stories) also has an crucial role in this film, even though she appears more near the end and was most likely supposed to be a co-lead character in the next films of the franchise. If this weren't bad enough the guy is coping with being a teenager and the reality that he is growing to have super-powers. Honestly I haven't read the book, butI'm sure if I had I would have been even more mortified. Granted, nigh unwatchable cinematicmisfires haunt the calendar's early months, amongst whose business D. Alex Pettyfer was very decent in his acting abilities, not Oscar worthy but not as poor as Zac Efron. Two thumbs up on this movie. My boys for the action, my 16 year old daughter for the cuteness factor, and my 8 year old daughter for the variation of the evil characters. Movie runs in a really slow pace in the initial half. Also it wasn't sexed up like al movies seem to be these days. Most teen movies manage some semblance of sensibility and attention to detail. There was only 1 moment of the film that may make some folks have some seizures but besides that, it's pretty cool. If you want to sneak in for the last 30 minutes I would highly recommend that or just wait until Blu-Ray/DVD.

Coming from a guy this movie is not that poor. And some men you will obviously adore Alex Pettyfer. For some demented reason I watched it till the end, waiting for the comedy bit to start it in no way did. The disappointments for me were Timothy Olyphant, who didn't take hisrole seriously and Number four's adore rival Mark, who should have been alot meaner. I can't wait to see her a lot more. I haven't read the books but here's hoping there's a second film since man this was so entertaining.

This movie was outstanding. There are 9 teenage unique aliens left and these are the ones that the poor aliens are following. They were fairly awesome and I loved their cooperation.

I loved the actor that played number four, he keyed in theemotions and how i saw him in the book. 1st of all, I read the book and I just thought that they left out a lot of detail from the book, some big ones too. Dianna Agron is a pretty girl and did a good job in this film. Low budget movie that says boring from begin to end. Granted that I haven't observed a lot of the teen-age horror movies that this film is undoubtedly component of, but if there are worse films than this out there, I don't want to see them. Without having spoiling the movie they didn't attempt to cram in total resolution and hastily tie up all the loose ends so it feels extremely organic and if they make a sequel it has a lot of power behind it. I was not expecting it to be as great as it was.

The acting was also truly good, and again, the story, while not specifically new, was well written with great dialogue that gave the actors a lot to function with. There are a coupleof humorous lines scattered throughout I Am Number Four, but the finalresult is amateurish, occasionally ridiculous, and mostly boring.

Being next in line, "John Smith" finds himself in a new town (once again) where he finds his 1st romance. The acting wasn't excellent but the overall story was excellent. Watch I Am Number Four divx. You shouldn't be expecting a lot going in, and it will be a pleasant surprise. It will not be on one of my worst movies lists, but it is just an average film that I will have forgotten all about right after a week. A realweakness is the cheesy villains. A lot of action movies now a days focus too a lot on the adore affairs going on - not this 1. I watch a lot of films. The nine have a unique bond with each and every other generating each and every of them immortal unless they are killed in numerical order. Finds love interest in a girl who was former interest of quarterback. If u want to see a movie where yu can have a nice long conversation without having missing much of the plot (which is what I did) and gawk at Alex Pettyfer for most of the time, then this is the perfect movie for you. It's not the focus, the focus is much more about becoming an outsider. There were a couple of intriguing stunts.
